On the occasion of Human Rights Day, the Association for Social Research and Communications (UDIK), supported by Robert Bosch Stiftung (RBSG), will organize the conference in Hotel Europe in Sarajevo (December 9 and 10, 2016) with the aim to present the Central Register of Monuments.
In addition to visiting places of war crimes, at the same time, UDIK is working on the collection of data on monuments and memorials in Bosnia and Herzegovina which are dedicated to the victims of the recent war with the aim of building a unique database named Central Register of Monuments. The conference will include the presentation of the project results by UDIK research team, as well as the submission of proposals and recommendations concerning civil memorialization in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Nerzuk Curak, Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo, and Amra Custo, Cantonal Institute for the Protection of the Cultural – Historical and Natural Heritage in Sarajevo.
The conference will be opened on December 9, 2016 by Ana Babic, the Chairperson of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton.
