On the occasion of the Human Rights Day, the Association for Social Research and Communication (UDIK), with the financial support of the Open Society Fund of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will organize a promotion of the publication “From Yugoslavia to Dayton – Monuments and culture of remembrance through the influence of social and political systems”
The aim of this book is to contribute to the building of a culture of remembrance in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to the prevention of unplanned and massive construction of monuments through education on memorials and monumental culture. This book covers areas of history, transitional justice and monumental culture, and is intended for history teachers, but also for all those who deal with these areas. The publication was made with the help of the following authors:
- Amra Custo, Cantonal Institute for the Protection of Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage Sarajevo,
- Amir Duranovic and Edin Radusic, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo;
- Edvin Kanka Cudic, Association for Social Research and Communication Sarajevo and
- Nerzuk Curak, Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo.
