On Friday, April 14, 2016, the Association for Social Research and Communications (UDIK) will organize an activity to mark the anniversary of the crime committed in Trusina village. Half-hour activity will be carried out at noon at Fra Grga Martic Square in Sarajevo.
We remind that this crime took place on April 16, 1993 in Trusina village near Konjic when members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the help of Bosniaks from local villages entered the village and killed 22 Croats, of which 18 civilians and 4 HVO members. For this crime are finally convicted Edin Dzeko and Handanovic Rasema, former members of the „Zulfikar“. In September last year, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first instance handed down a prison sentence of Nihad Bojadzic for 15 years, Nedzad Hodzic for 12, and Mensur Memic for 10 years, while Dzevad Salcin and Senad Hakalovic freed.
Also, on Saturday, activists of UDIK will attend the commemoration in Trusina village, where they will lay a wreath and pay tribute to those killed in this village.
